Movies I like

 I would like to talk about films today because one of my biggest hobbies is watching movies! I really enjoy the moment I watching a movie, and I can also learn something in life and grow up watching movies.

I remember the first movie I saw is The Lion King. I believe every people at my age have seen it. I in loved with the family of Simba the first time I saw that movie. The music is also so unforgettable. Do you remember the scene when Simba found his father died, and the sadness on his face? I was so touched when the music began: La xi do-- xi- re do xi la----la la—so#—la… I think this movie makes me love animals so much, and also, I learned we should Listen to parents and follow their advices before we make a really big decision.

Titanic was the second movie I saw. It was so famous even nowadays people like to talk about it. I think it will be very hard for me to describe the feeling of it in English, and the adoration of the main actors. I was happy that they married at last in the real life. I watched this movie when I was 8years old. We have a video tape at home, so I watched it every two weeks. I remember I did not want Jack die because it is so sad, and I did not like that sad ending, so I asked my mother, “Why did Jack die? I do not want that.” My mother said, “You know, Jack did not have money, so he cannot eat a lot. That leads to his sickness of his body. So Jack died, and Rose survived.” Then I believed my mother said and from then on I have proper meal every day. O(∩_∩)O.

In the next part, I am happy to recommend you guys some movies I like, but do not expect too much for me because many people said I have a special taste:

My Old Friends

 Many people spend time with their friends. They go shopping, travel somewhere, or eat foods together. Also, I spend a lot of time with my friends. After I came to USA, I really miss my Korean friends. I can make a contact through the Internet, but I want to meet them as soon as possible. I have many friends; one friend’s name is Hyunjoo and the other is Jaekyoung.

 First of all, I met Hyunjoo when I was middle school student. She has small and white face. She is so kind and always helps me when I have some problem. Moreover, we went to the same high school, so we got closer to each other. We always ate lunch and dinner together for 3 years. Now, Hyunjoo and I are both university students, and each university is different. However, we meet frequently, so we still have a good relationship. She is studying to be a police officer. It is hard for women to study, so I want to encourage her.

 Another friend, Jaekyoung, is my high school friend. (Her English name is Olivia.) When we were high school students, we joined the same club, which was related to music. While we were in same club, we held festivals and made our own club room where we sold drinks and some foods by ourselves. Furthermore, her apartment is nearby my apartment, so we can meet anytime we want. She is doing student teaching which is teaching student before becoming a teacher. Before I came to USA, she was in Singapore, and after she came back to Korea, I had to come here. That’s because we didn’t meet these days. I want to hang out with her in my neighborhood.

 I am happy that I have very nice friends. We always make good memories, so I try to spend more time with my friends. I love them so much, and I miss them. Who do you have precious friends?

Technology and our life in the future.

Technology is moving too fast, and this is changing our life. 20 years ago, people have a dream about TV 3D, or a small cellphone with color screen. We saw it at some movies sometimes. Today, technology makes it come true, more and more new technology products were introduced.  Let think about the future, and see how technology change our life.

In the future, we can see anything with 3D technology such as: watch, cellphone, banner, or even advertising poster and newspaper.

Instead of go to company for their work,  people can stay at home, turn on your laptop, connect to server’s company to get documents, or sending email. When they want to hold a meeting, just sit down at a living room; turn on the TV for a real-time conference.

People don’t have to go to supermarket or go shopping. They can connect to the camera system at the market after login to with their customer ID with their iris by a remote control. In addition, with this remote, they can go around and zoom to the stuff which they life, and then choose it. A smart system will send it to their home.

When people want to travel, people use their car with clean fuel. Everything they need to do is speak out loud the destination and sleep. When the car is running out of gas, it can go to the gas station automatically.

But technology will maybe destroy society.  People become more obese, because they just stay at home without exercise. Also, they become lazy and don’t want to do at home.  Besides, they just sit down when they work, and can live in their room for a long time; they have robots to serve their meal.

People don’t want to go out. Otherwise, they like to connect together through social network; they can make a 3D video call on that. They want to relax at home with their high-tech devices.  At that time human slaves to technology.

Are there difference between Male and Female brain?

This show is from CBS. This show said that there are brain size difference between male and female. There are 2 types of matter in the brain called gray matter and white matter.

The show said male have 6.5 times more gray matter than female do, and gray matter is part of the responsible for information processing. On the other hand, Female have as much as 10 times as much white matter than male do, and white matter is the part of the responsible for connecting information processing centers. So male might be better in math, and female might be better multi-taskers : people who can perform multiple tasks at one time.

Can you imagine that men have 6.5 times more gray matter and women have 10 times as much white matter? No way!!! I've never heard those incredibly big difference between male and female. Basically, human have a same brain. I've heard about some research found some small size difference between male and female brains; however, there are no big difference male and female brains. So if there are some original papers,  I guess the original paper said that male have 6.5% more gray matter than female do, and female have 10% more white matter than male do. Of course, there many brain size difference between animals. For example, whales have bigger brain than human. Of course, whales have bigger brain than human because whales are bigger than human. But brain size doesn't matter! This is because, even though whales have bigger brain than human, humans are more smart than whales. So the most important thing is connection of neurons. In short, I think there might be small size differences between male and female; however, brain size doesn't matter. So I think there no difference between male and female brains! internet research assignment

       One week ago I got the homework of my elective class, which is advance vocabulary. The teacher whose name is Mindy gave us internet research assignment which is counted like midterm exam. At the first time I thought that it will be the most simplest homework which I have ever gotten. Also, she put us into time limit, so we had one whole week for this small task. However, I didn't even started this assignment during the studying week, and I decided to postpone doing this on weekends. Furthermore, all student have to submit until 8 a.m. on Monday. However, the long-expected weekend was passing very quickly, so I didn't have an opportunity to start doing homework. I opened my eyes on Sunday at 5 p.m., and I immediately began researching in Internet. Finally, I spend 2 hours doing this homework. I understood that the Internet is full of different unnecessary information which makes difficult to find some useful things.

        Internet is worldwide trash can because you spend a lot of time reading absolutely gratuitous articles or watching bad and even cruel videos. Sometimes you click on website and realize that you already have read about this,and it  really annoys, usually you click on one website but it goes to another.However, I totally understand that the life without Internet might be more difficult than with it. All people know that Internet gives the enormous possibility to  communicate among long distances and simplify daily needs.For example, 30 years ago if you want to go to the cinema, you have to go there to see the timetable.Nowadays, it is  easier and more convenient to look the schedule of the films up in Internet. Moreover, some people can easily find needed websites and files,but other people think that it is very difficult to search in Internet. Sometimes I can be in both groups because it directly depends on types of information. What can you say about yourself???

Group story: John's unlucky day

Today, John was so unlucky. He has a UCR elective trip, and the bus is leaving at 9 o’ clock. But he did not wake up until 11 o’ clock. He missed the Disneyland trip and wanted to punch the bed. Unfortunately, the ticket to Disneyland cannot be refunded. Facing the sad fact, he got off the bed and tried contacting his friends who have a car to pick him up, but his friends are all unavailable. He gave up after about an hour. He dislikes UCR extension now, because they seem to only want money from the students but not help them solve problems.

But he has no idea, so the only thing he can do is to have breakfast. He moved slowly to the kitchen to have some milk. But to his surprise, the milk has expired because he forgot to put it into the refrigerator. “Nothing can be worse than today”, he sighted. He decided to go downstairs to buy some milk and snacks to comfort himself. He felt much better after eating. Then he came back to his bedroom to make a plan about today. Before he started, he saw some missed calls on his cellphone. It was his new friend Josh and he had a lot of fine with Josh these days. “I am having a lunch party and I know you missed the Disneyland, so how about you come here to enjoy the party?” John cried out, “I just had a big lunch to celebrate this free day! Oh my gosh! How I wish to have fun with you!” He jumped to the balcony and talked to Josh with his right arm twirling in the air. Suddenly he heard somebody scream out. As he looked down, he saw a girl. He hung up on Josh and run downstairs to his garden…

Down stairs, he saw his flowerpot drop on the ground which nearly hit the girl. As he turned to the girl to apologize, he realized the girl has a pretty and innocent look. He was mesmerized. “Are…are you ok? Did you get hurt?” he asked. “No, I am fine.” The girl looked a little frightened but smiled. “Then, ok. Uh, nice to meet you, so do you live nearby?” he asked. “Yeah, I just moved here today with my parents, I am your new neighbor. Nice to meet you too, I am Jenney.”  This is a good start, so my bad luck must be coming to an end. As he was thinking, the girl left...

I Really Miss Them

It was hard decision when I decide to come to US. It was so difficult to be far away from persons that you were with them whole of your life, you love them so much, they are your life and you can’t imagine your life without them. In the other hand, It is so difficult to tack a decision that is difficult for you and at the same time it is difficult for the persons who love you and don’t want you to go far, but they will approve on this because they love you and they are able to be put on any way just because of you and to your dream will come true. I will never forget last day when I left my family, I never forget that my mummy and daddy and all of my sisters, brothers, aunts, kids and adult was crying. At that time I felt that how much they love me and this situation is difficult for them. I never forget when my mummy was hugging me and crying, may be for more than hour or may be more I don’t know. She told me: “Aisha do you believe that from first day when you told me that you will move to US for around 6 years, every night and every time I remember this I keep crying, but not in front of you because I don’t want to stop your dream and I don’t want to break your heart.” At that time I felt that my decision was wrong there is nothing equal persons who really love you and nothing much beautiful than leaving with them. I never forget when my sister was crying and she told me:” Aisha how you are going and leave me alone?? and you know that how much I love you. You know that I don’t have any body and nobody will fill your place. I never forget when I went to my daddy, he was so sad and told me Aisha just takes care of yourself and please let me know if you need anything. I think that day, it was very hard I remember that I didn’t stop crying all on my way in plan to US; just maybe I stopped crying when I slept in plan. I was thinking that my decision was right or wrong???  From the day, when I arrived to US, every day I call my family. Some time when I hear my mummy sound I keep crying and I hang up because I don’t want my mummy to cry and some time when I call them we just keep crying may be without any talking. Every day, I am praying and ask god to plus my daddy, mummy and whole my family. I hope such nice days return again and I return to my family and have a good time together. But I think it will be after very long time. I arrived here in September 2010 and start level 300 English and now I just in 500 and it will be long time to finish my university. But because I start it, I have to finish it and I have to go back to my family with grade change in my life. But is what I am doing right?????? Really I DON’T KNOW!!!!

The false friends

Susan’s last boyfriend, whose name is Martin, had been a total nightmare because he had a lot of disadvantages in his behavior and habits. The fact that he was grown without father gave an influence on his education and life. Martin didn’t know how to behave himself with girls. He had never invited Susan to any public places such as restaurants, cinemas and concerts. However, sometimes Susan used to take the main power in her hands, so she invited her boyfriend to some active dates which included walking in the parks and streets, eating at coffee houses and restaurants and even participating in the vast music and movie festivals. Moreover, Susan usually paid for them because he didn’t do it for her. After such kind of dates she gradually became angry and upset since she always thought that relationship between girlfriend and boyfriend should be different. In spite of all these flaws Susan really loved him. Their not perfect relationship had lasted for two months,  and, finally, they broke up. At that time, Susan was so morose and upset, so she had a difficult time according to this situation. She didn’t eat anything and didn’t speak to anyone because she had a deep depression and a bad mood. Her best friend, whose name is Morgan, always supported her, so this situation wasn’t an exception. Morgan really worried about friend’s situation which very strongly influenced on Susan. Therefore, Morgan tried to cheer her up and told Susan a story about a blind date and mentioned that this date can be the best solution of Susan’s problem. After her words Susan was interested in result, which can be occurred at the end of this experience. One day she decided to find a boyfriend through the Internet; however, she wasn’t good at operations and actions which she need to do for create an account and publish all general information about her and her background. She asked Morgan to help her with all these things, and Morgan agreed. Few days later, they went after classes to Susan’s home, but on the way to that place they came in store. While they were waiting for a cashier near a cash-desk, Susan suddenly saw one handsome guy, who stood near the soft-drinks fridge. She liked him very much because he looked like a hip-hop star, and his appearance made him special and different from other people in the crowd. After ten minutes girls were walking to home, yet Susan didn’t make a pause in her long speech because she was telling Morgan about the guy that she saw at the store. Moreover, she was describing him like an ideal of all guys; in spite of the fact that she hasn’t known him at all. At that evening they spent almost two hours creating personal webpage. On the next day Susan got four messages from different guys that just want to communicate with her. She answered them with a big interest, and she was keeping touch with them during one week. After that Susan realized that she is interested in only one guy whose name is Damon. Susan was sharing all her secrets about new friend with Morgan. Furthermore, Morgan always asked her with big curiosity about the progress in her new relationship. Susan was amused with his perfect and flawless manner of communication; therefore, she usually could spend all her evening time chatting with Damon, and she was pretty sure that she knew a lot about him, his past and his future plans. After two weeks Damon decided that he is ready for real date, he invited Susan to the restaurant. When she knew about it, she was so happy because he did the first step. On the other hand, she was very nervous about the date. Susan spent all day in front of the mirror trying to find the most appropriate dress for their first and long-expected date. Finally, they met at eight o’clock at the Italian restaurant. Susan was so surprised and shocked because Damon turned out to be that guy from the store. They were eating the delicious meal and were talking about different things when she suddenly saw Morgan that also was sitting with guy. The first thought which came into Susan’s head was that why Morgan didn’t tell her about new boyfriend. Then Susan went to greet Morgan and the guy who was sat next to her, but on the place of Morgan’s boyfriend was Susan’s ex-boyfriend Martin. Susan was shocked, and she couldn’t say a word. However, Morgan also didn’t begin to explain what was going on. She just looked at Susan with arrogance and scorn, and then loudly said that she loved him from the beginning of Susan’s relationships. Moreover, she admitted that Damon was a fake toy in her hands because she used him to distract Susan from Martin and also win some time for herself. During five years Morgan had just one goal which is to revenge Susan because long time ago, at high school, Susan was the most popular and congenial student, and she was dating with one guy who was Morgan’s lover. After these words Susan understood that their friendship was not real since it was caused by lie and envy. Finally, these girls have never seen each other in the life.

Enjoyable baseball game.

Last Friday, after classes, I went Anaheim stadium with my friends. We saw baseball game. Anaheim angels was the team which is local team in here. They played with Cleveland indians. It was so interesting!!
Before I came to USA, my father said, "While you are staying USA, you should see baseball game in the stadium". Baseball is very famous in USA, and there are many good teams which are also popular in Korea. In addition, some Korean baseball players are playing in USA team. One of them is Choo whose team is Cleveland indians. When I was in Korea, I watched TV show about him. He is very kind and hard-working. He is always playing eagerly. These days, in this season, he is very good at playing and makes many hits. So when I looked into game schedule of Anaheim angels, I wanted to see game with Cleveland indians. I wanted to see him. Fortunately, Cleveland indians was coming last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We decided to go there on Friday, because they have fireworks every Friday.
I was really expecting about game during last weekdays. However, suddenly, I heard some news about Choo. He drunk and drove his car. I was so surprised, for I thought he was very good player. At first time, I was disappointed, but I thought he was so happy, because his team is making a good score in this season. That's because he made a mistake. In spite of this reason, I wanted to see his play, and I was worried that he would be absent in the game on Friday. 
When I got to stadium, it was amazing! Stadium is really big. It is quadruple than my city's stadium. We ate hotdog and drinks for dinner. We sat in the highest seat, but the end of game, we could sit in 1st floor which is close to a field.
In this game, Choo didn't make any hits, but he could throw a ball like a blaze. I could see him very close in person after baseball game was over. I and my friends called his name, but he didn’t look at us. (I guess I could hear that.) However, I was very happy to see him, and the game was very interesting. I want to go there again. If you have not been there, you should go.

Steve was 45 years old, but he looked younger. He was an IT manager at ABC Company in Los Angeles. There were 5 peoples in IT department, and all of them were young except Steve. He had been working here for 15 years totally, it’s really a long time. When he came to ABC Company, it was just a small company, and he was only one to take care about system and network for this company.  But now, ABC had become bigger and Steve became IT manager naturally. Steve used to a good staff, and he hadn’t made any mistake seriously. The telephone rang out loud make him wake up when he was thinking about the past.  He heard a sweet voice from the secretary:

 “Hi Mr.Steve, our boss – Mr.Lee asked you to meet him at his room at 4”.  

 “OK, thanks Lisa” he said and wondered why the boss called him.  Steve just met Mr.Lee in some meeting, but had never met individual. He looked at his watch, it was 3:30. He came to Data center room to confirm everything is ok. He thought maybe Mr.Lee wanted to promote him because he was a good staff in many years, or maybe Mr.Lee wanted to talk to him about expand the current network or upgrade for new system. He looked at his watch again, it was 3:50, and then he went to elevator, puting the button number one to go down.  Mr.Steve’s room was a big room at the first floor; he chose this room because he didn’t want to use elevator every day. When Steve was in front of Mr.Steve’s , Lisa asked him

“Hi Mr.Steve, please come in, Mr. Steve is waiting for you”.

He came in the room and seeing mr.Steve was reading some documents.  After said “hello” and handshake, Mr.Lee asked Steve to sit down. After that, Mr.Lee’s face had changed, he became serious and look like worry about something.  Mr.Lee began:

“You are a good staff in many years, you’ve helped us to build a good system for this company, I want to thank you about that”.

 “Thank you, sir” Steve said and he couldn’t know what Mr.Lee said after that.

 “But our company hasn’t worked very well recently; I think you know about the recession world. And I must to lay off some employee to save our company. Our data center is very good right now, and I think we don’t need to upgrade it in next 4, 5 years. You have worked for a long time, you should relax, Mr.Steve. I thought we just need two employees in IT department to take care our system. John and Jackie are young, so they can learn well about technology, I am very sorry about that Mr. Steve, I don’t want to talk about that anymore, sorry”.  Said Mr.Lee

 Mr. Steve kept silent after that, because he couldn’t believe that he was laid off some day. Everything in his head was a chaos, he wanted to say something but he didn’t know what to do. “Are you ok?, Mr.Steve”, Mr.Lee called him and asked him to hand over his work to John and Jackie. Steve left Mr.Lee’s room and forgot to say bye to Lisa. That day was a bad memory in Mr.Steve’s life.

I would like to introduce big~~ accident. Two weeks ago, I went to Victoria Garden buying I PAD 2 with my friend. If you want to get I PAD 2, you have two choices. First, you can buy I PAD 2 Using Internet, but you need to wait for it on 2 or 3 weeks. Otherwise you can go to Apple store, you can get it. But it also has a problem. Apple store commonly open at 9 AM. Staffs usually give it to us after 10 AM. Unfortunately, supply is less than demand. They are not sure that they can give to you suitable goods. Staff said that “you can not get I PAD 2 even you arrive at 6 AM.” So we wake up at 5 AM, after that we went to go there. As you know, Apple store which is Victoria Garden is the nearest. I didn’t have GPS. I have I phone 4, so we decided to use my phone. When we almost arrived, we felt little bit strange, because that place had a lot of shop. But we could see just big mountain, even we stated to drive down an unpaved road. That road was bumpy, but I didn’t care. I just thought I PAD 2. According to GPS, we almost reached. I thought it looked like ranch. Suddenly my car couldn’t move. Oh my goddess. The front wheel fell into hole in the ground. We tried to escape. As you know it is almost impossible. We used big stones, board which make of wood. More and more tried to do something, we just be tired. I frustrated. At that time just it was before 7 AM. I know it was rude, I called my car insurance agency. They didn’t get the phone. Perhaps I try to 20 times again, he got the phone. It was 8:30. He recommended calling tow truck. So he called tow truck for us. At that time we noticed another problem. We couldn’t explain where we were. So we missed two agencies. After that we decided to go where driver could easy to find. After all we walked for 30 minutes. Anyway we could escape nightmare, but we could but I PAD 2. Finally we bought I PAD2 using Internet. I still wait for I PAD 2 right now.

Important issues you have to do if you want to enter USA university

If you are interesting to apply in USA University, there are some important issues you have to prepare and apply to university which you interested in. First about international student, the most important is TOEFL exam that provide your ability and qualification in English language and it is very important to get university approval. Second important issue is resume that provide your work experiences and courses that you have. Writing resume is very easy. You have to start it with writing your personal details, your work experience, duration about your work experiences and at the end you should order your certificates and courses that you were taking it during working and academic years. Resume must write very carefully and include all details in short points or sentences and must be without any grammar or writing errors. The third and the most important issue is SOP that refers to Statement of Purpose. This issue is very important for somebody who interest to apply for graduate school of master's and doctorate.  The SOP is playing the very important factor in case of getting approval from university. The most important that the SOP must provide refer to three main points of what major and field you are applying for and in what field you will research? What is your experience and background in this are? And what you will do after graduate and get certificate? The SOP must be writing very carefully and provide and clarify all details in brief and summary assay. It should be without any error and tell reader exactly what you are applying for?  What is your experience and your purpose of doing this subject? In addition you provide your certificate and transcript, your passport copy and financial grantee.

2 weeks ago, I went to Las Vegas with my friends.
I'd been there 3 times before, but I didn't gambling at all.
Because I thought I'm not interested in gambling.

We stayed 3days in Vegas. First 2days we went to Bryce and Zion canyon so we didn't enjoy anything in Strip. However the last night we finally decided to enjoy gambling then visited Encore hotel.

I'm seriously not interested in any kind of it. So I thought I will spend just 10bucks or less.
Even i didn't know any game any rules. So I just decided to play Roulette. Because I heard that roulette is easy and most popular. However it was disaster to me.

At first I just put 20 bucks for playing. I won sometimes so during first 5minuites I earned money. But I started lose my money. It take less than 15 mints to lose 20 bucks. So I put 20 more. It was better because I got 2 small jackpot and it takes 1 hour to lose all.

It was really fun and I was so stupid. Because I thought I could win if I have enough budget. So I found my friend then borrowed 40bucks for game. Because I had money enough in my account but the ATM fee was so expensive. Whatever I kept doing game then I lost all again. I was angry. Because at first time I was earn money. If I was quit at that time, I could cover all loss. But I didn't do. So I dicided to keep gambling for cover the loss. I try to find my friends but I didn't find them. So I withdrawed 100dollar from my acount with high ATM fee. Then I played the roulette again.  I think I was out of control.

I kept playing game and repeated loss and won. I got several small jackpot then kept loss money. I lost until 20bucks but I won upto 150bucks. Then I countinued to loss the money.

At that time, my friends found me. They told me stop the game then go back. But I didn't want to, I needed to cover my loss. They forced me from the Casino then whatever I saved my 100dollars. At that time I really wanted to keep gambling but now I think good to quit. I would lost 100bucks more If I was countinue the game. So now I really thanks to my friends.

That's my story to lost 80 bucks in Vegas. Guys, don't do gambling...!!

Famous Animal in Saudi Arabia

In my country, most people prefer to eat meat for main meal. The main source of meat is Camels or lamb. Camels are important animals in many parts of Saudi Arabia. People are variety of ways. These uses can be food, clothes, and rides. First of all, camels are important source of food. Camel meat is high in protein and low in fat. Another source or use of food from camel is milk. In my country, people drink camel's milk and also make cheese from it. On another hand, they use camel for clothes. We can use their wool to make clothes. People usually camel wool to make blankets, coats, and suits because it's warm in the winter. In addition, camel leather is used to make hats, boots, and ladies fashion.

My Family

Most people have a small family, around two brothers or two sisters. That is not always true. I have 8 brothers and one sister. My family is big, I am happy with them. My older brother has a waif and a daughter. I miss his daughter, she is 9 months old, and she is a cute. My sister is younger than me around 5 years. She differs; she has whit skin and short, black hair. She cooks better than me. She doesn’t like school, she got high school. After that, she stopped. Her name is Abeer , the meaning of her name is smell of flowers. My younger brother Rayan is 8 years old. All my family love him because he is cute and nice. He loves computer games . Every day , he plays between 2-3 hours. He has bicycle, but he destroy it always. He makes things for old people, he doesn’t like sleep early. Sometimes I think he is crazy. I miss him a lot . when I was in my home , I took him with me . I love his stories about his dream and his friends . my mom loves him more us because he is younger child and he is smartest. I miss my family. Now my family are preparing for final exams. After that, they have vacation for three months. In this vacation my family going to my hometown . We have apartment  there. I hope my family spending a wonderful time.      

John's Bad Day

First thing in the morning, John slept through his alarm clock and woke up very late. Things didn't get much better for the rest of the day. After he woke up, he went to the bathroom to get a shower, but there was no water came out!! He remembered that he didn't pay the last bill for the water. Therefore, he put on his cloths as fast as he could, and went to his car and started the engine. He was so sleepy since he get used to have the morning shower to refresh himself. However, he drove his car in a crazy way, and he cut most of the traffic lights that he passed through, and that was really dangerous for him and for other drivers too. John at that time was out of his mode and really worried about his late since that was his first time to be late as that much, that's why he couldn't control himself.

Once he reached the car park, he stopped his car right away, and stepped out of the car towards the tower that he work in. He greeted the security and run to the stairs to get his office which is at the third floor. At the stairs, he met his friend who told him that the manager was looking for him at the early morning, he kept running and jumping the stairs till he reached his floor, and entered his department. The department was really quite since all the employees were working in their offices. Nevertheless, he reached his office and found a memo on his disk signed by the manager: " you were not here at early morning, and I am reminding you .. this is your second warning", he took the paper and put it in his drawer with the others. Actually that was a bad sign since these memos are going to threaten his career path if he didn't take care and try to fix these problems.

At the moment, John looked really sad and miserable, and started to clean his face from the sweat since he was really nervous. After a while, he became calm, and started to arrange his documents and classifying them accordingly. But he surprised when he missed one top urgent document, and he tried to find it in many places but he couldn't. After all of the mess that happened to John, he asked himself: " why all of these are happening to me??"

After a hard and tough business day, he left his office, and started looking for a restaurant for his dinner. While he was driving, he saw an advertisement about a lottery. In fact, he thought about it seriously since he used to win in many lotteries before, so he bought a ticket, and said to himself "at least this will make up my miserable day". Actually, John won in the lottery, and he was so happy, so he went to receive his price with excitement. When he arrived the place that he supposed to get his price from, he shocked that he couldn't find the ticket. John laughed with a loud voice and realized that day wasn't his day, and went back to his house after he bought his dinner.

What a hot weather

In these days the weather fluctuates and keeps changing between hot and cold. Actually, I see some people complain about this hot weather, but I don't!! and this is for two reasons; first, it reminds me with my country and the whole life in there, the other reason; I experienced very much hot weather, and if I compare it to what we live here, I can say this weather is really a nice one . To explain that more; last summer in my country the weather reached its maximum limit since it was almost 60c (140 F) and most people got annoyed since that heat did not give any chance to anyone to do anything at daylight, so most works are delayed to the evening time.

It was really unbelievable!! and the people at that time kept reminding each other with small and important tips about the safety; such as, in using the electricity wisely. Since too much of electriciy loading will cause serious problems in houses. Also not to travel by cars at the noon time since the tires may not be able to resist the hot roads and might explode, and finally all people should stay in shaded places to avoid the hot sunshine.

In other words, I miss my place and the weather in these days plays with my emotions. What about you and how the weather looks like in your country, is it same as riverside's weather?

When I was young, I started to pay attention to the nature around me. I do not know why I liked to try to save water, electricity and articles for daily use even before I went to school. I remember I would got angry or even cried out when someone did not turn off the faucet after using it. So today I would like to talk about the water resource, I hope we can know the importance of water resource and get together to use it more effectively.

Water seems to cover over 70% of our earth, but the volume that can be used by human being is so limited. Somebody would say we can change the water in the ocean to drinking water, but up to now, researchers have not find a cheap way to do that, which is to say it is not widespread. Only 1% of the water on the planet can be changed to drinking water, so water resource is very precious.

Since the development of the cities, we have sewage treatment plants (where can clean the waste water). They help a lot to make the waste water clean, but, many old cities do not have advanced piping systems (the systems that can separate different kinds of water such as waste water used by citizens, rain, and the water used in the factories), so if people use a lot of water at the same time or there has a big rain, a large amount of dirty water will go directly into rivers! It is terrible for the creatures in the water, and they will get sick or die. People will also suffer from this consequence. What is more, the water cleaned by sewage treatment plants is not clean enough to drink, and it is just available to put into rivers though this will more or less damage the rivers. We ought to save the water we use for more and more people sharing the same valuable resource on our planet.

Personally I think what we can do is not much, but if we all keep on doing something to protect water resource, it will make a big difference. A survey recently shows the average of American uses about 69 Gallons water per day, for 18.5 gallons for toilet, 15 gallons for clothes washers, about 12 gallons for showers, and 11gallons for other use. So you can see some small actions like shortening the showers or turning off the faucet brushing your teeth can add up to conserve water. Here are some tips that we can reduce water consumption at home:

1.       Avoid letting the water faucet run while we brushing teeth, washing face, or shaving.

2.       Turn off the water while we shampoo and condition our hair.

3.       Fix leaking faucets and toilets that an average of 8% (or more) of all home water is wasted through leaks.

4.       Placing a brick in our toilet to conserve the water we use each time.

5.       Turn off the water to every machine in our home if we do not use it.

6.       Wash the clothes when they can fill up the washing machine, and the same as the dish machine.

Do you Know water park in Korea?

 Hi everybody! How do you think this weather in California? It’s hot and dry right? , so I always think about going swimming at the pool. In fact in apartments of California have many small size pools, but I want to introduce one place which is big water park in Korea.

 In Korea have two famous water park one of two water park is called Caribbean Bay, and the other one is called Ocean World. Both are very good place in summer. At that time, many hot people go to these places for enjoying, swimming and watching to hot girls. Sorry, it’s my conception. Anyway, we can enjoy to ride many kinds of amuse frameworks. For example, we can hang out in the wave pool within save vest, and we also visit the longest lazy river, sandy pool, kiddy pool, various water slides for great adventure and thrill, salt sauna of healthy skin all await you.

The tickets price is almost 33$per one adult. After you pay entrance fee, you need to have some money for renting save vest and looker room.

 1 year ago, I visited this place, but the weather looked like to be cloud. However, in the place always was crowd very much. I and my friends were playing for 8 o’clock. While we were staying this place, we always glanced to some girls who are look so good. we were ridding the laze tube ,which is really comfortable like waterbed, and slipping the various water slides. Anyway I think, this place is very good if you go to the Korea in summer, you have to go to Caribbean Bay. It will make fun and happy memorize.

Did you watch Undercover boss last Sunday?

I watched Undercover Boss last Sunday. The Undercover Boss is the TV show that usually some company boss changed them looks, and they work with their workers secretly... But, last Sunday's episode was not some company boss, it was UCR chancellor,Timothy P. White. He cut his hair short and wears a fake mustache, teeth, and earrings. He did the everyday work of the students and staff. For example, he did kind of a TA job at chemistry class, supported track and field, worked at library, and worked for the campus tour guide. He always had miss takes to do these jobs, but he tried to understand teachers and students feelings by himself. Of course, these teachers and students didn't realize that he is a chancellor, so they could tell him their feelings without nervous. Also, it was good for chancellor to know the real campus more, I think. I was grad to know that UCR chancellor is nice person. This is commercial of Undercover boss UCR.

World which acquires colors

Hi everybody!!!I  have one question which I want to ask...who wears glasses or contacts? You can response after reading the article...)) I have a big problem with my eyes especially with vision, so i can not see objects  which are in far distance from me...I have been living with this problem almost 8 years...When I was 10 years my vision began to decrease, and I started to wear glasses...From year to year my vision gradually was getting worse, and now I have minus 4...(((and it is very sad...I have been wearing glasses for 5 years, but at the beginning I wore glasses just in the classes for reading and looking at blackboard. However, now I can not even go out without glasses because I can not see well even in daytime or nighttime. Truly, I hate wearing glasses because it puts some limits that prevent to see all view without turning the head on different sides. Therefore, after five years of discomfort I decided to buy the contacts; however, my parents were opposed to this idea. Finally after 2 months I bought them, and I was so happy!!!When I first time wear the contacts I realized that the world acquires new more various colors! The snow became more white and shiny on the cold sun rays, the surroundings such as people, buildings and small objects  became more accurate and significant! In that time I understood that I had been living at dark and lackluster world where I had to wear glasses..((( But now I appreciate the opportunity which allows to see all colors of our planet!!!Nowadays,  I know that it is possible to correct the vision by participation of medicine. However, I really scared of the consequences which can be occurred after operation...Moreover, doctors don't allow to wear contacts more than 6 hours, and it is not very comfortable because when I was studying at university in my country  I wore glasses from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and, of course, I understand that it is very harmful for my eyes, but I could not do anything... Furthermore, everyone knows that contacts are prosthetic devices for eyes with bring harmful effect. However, people more and more begin to wear contacts, so glasses become old-fashioned ...And also some people have a stereotype that if you wear glasses, you  read a lot....I want to say that it is not always 100 percent true because some problems can be cause of genes. Also, the technologies develop all time, and now we can choose contacts with different colors such as blue, brown and even red....But i prefer my own color of eyes which is green!!!!=))
