Since I came to USA, I have been traveling many cities nearby California. I have been LA, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, and San Diego. All of them were very nice and unforgettable, but LA trip is the most memorable. I went for a trip to LA as soon as I came to USA, so it is meaningful.
I went LA with my friends, and we had a trip for 4 days. It was hard and tiring trip, because before trip, we had taken airplane for 11 hours. However, it was also interesting. Therefore, I couldn’t forget it.
In LA, we stayed at Hollywood hostel which is located in Hollywood boulevard. It was convenient to look around Hollywood and go to LA’s major tourist attraction, because there is a metro nearby the hostel. Also, its charge was cheap for student.
First day, we just looked around near the hostel. There was Hollywood boulevard, and we could see walk of fame and star mark. That night, there was a party, because that day was end day of year (Dec.31). However, I was so tired, and I missed my first party in USA. Second day, we went Universal Studios. Universal Studios was one of the best places in my trip. There are so many amusing entertainment centers, for example, Simpsons, Terminator 3D, Water World, and Shrek. Many of the stores look like pictures of movie. For weather was so good, it was more joyful.
However, next day, it rained. We went to Farmer’s Market, The Grove, and Getty Museum. There were many things which I like, and that day, we ate Korean food for dinner. Last day, we went to Union Station, China town, and Korea town. Korea town which is well known to Korean in LA is very big. In Korea town, we ate expensive steak. It was so good.
In LA, I was very interested, because LA trip was the first trip in USA. Everything which was like a food, building, or transportation was amazing to me. However, we had to look around all for 4 days, so we had lots of plan per one day. Because of that reason, we were so busy and very tired. Every 4 days, we fell asleep quickly as soon as we came back to hostel after trip. My travel in LA made me not only happy but also tired. So it is more memorable to me. I usually see my picture in LA, and I miss LA trip.
I really liked your description about your first trip which took place in LA!!!=) when i came to US my first trip was also occurring in LA...i also liked it very much...However,i have not been to Universal Studio and Korean,China towns...(((may be in future i can go there...who knows!?When i was living in my country which is really far from here,i always dreamed to visit LA because LA is a homeland of Movie industry...and now i understand that it is just a tourist trap...but people all over the world want to visit it...

you spend really nice time in LA, and Diana also :) I also have been to Universal studio, there were so fun place to me. There are also Universal studio in Japan, too. But, American Universal studio is better and bigger than Japanese Universal studio. Recently, my lender's son Jeff and his girlfriend went Universal studio. They found Eva Longoria (She is famous actress, and she is one of the main characters of desperate housewives; Gabrielle) at Universal studio!

I think it is a good trap to you, everybody like to go to the LA! Anyway, If I have a time to go to the LA again, I will go the baseball stadium, and I want to buy some MLB caps, but nowadays I am a poor guy. So I am waiting to come in the June, because at that time I will have leftover money. And will you teach me how to get more enjoy time in LA, if you have a free time. By Jo
